Mission Accomplished: Xbox 360 Marathon Complete!

The Xbox 360 Marathon is now over. It is both sad and a relief. We managed to go for 59 hrs and raise $660. Although we did not reach our goals of $5000 and 1000 gamerscore, I can’t help but feel the marathon was a success. Not due to the amount of money we raised or games we played, but because of the people and fun that we all had. We played a variety of xbox 360 games on and off xbox live and we thank all of those who played on xbox live with us!
We gave away some great prizes that included The Orange Box and Lost Planet on Xbox 360 to South Park Season 11 on DVD. The grand prize was a 12 inch Steel Statue of the Master Chief from Halo 3(Congrats to Luis G on winning the statue!). We asked some pretty tricky video game trivia questions, so a congratulations goes to all of those who won!! Even if you didn’t win a prize, Hot Blooded Gaming’s pink hair girl treated us all to a prize of our own when she removed her shirt when we reached 100 diggs. Video can be watched below.

We’d also like to thank all of those who dugg us on digg.com and stayed to watched for as long as they did. The marathon would not have been as fun as it was if it wasn’t for those of you watching and helping us out. So again I thank everyone for their contribution whether it was a digg, a donation, a view, or all three. Hot Blooded Gaming and Kreyg.com thank you all!
Just because the marathon is over, doesn’t mean that the fun has to stop!!! Hot Blooded Gaming will be doing more marathons as the months go on. But don’t forget, they do a live show every night at 9:30pm est at www.HotBloodedGaming.com. They will not be airing again until September 4th so they can take a break and rest up after the 59 hour marathon they put on. I personally stayed awake for 44 straight hours I am now beat and in need of some recuperation time. I might seem like a machine, but yes I am only human.
Hot Blooded Gaming upon return will be partnering with www.GameMarathons.com and will start a prime time show from 4pm - 6pm EST every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. So if you cant make it to the daily 9:30pm show, check us out at the mid-day show!!!!
